The Site is owned and operated by MetDesk Limited ("we, us or our"). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 08282087 and have our registered office at Hale Court Hale Road, Wendover, Aylesbury, England, HP22 6NJ. Our VAT registration number is 151303164.

Accessing and Using Our Site

We permit access to the Site on a temporary basis. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend access to the Site without notice at any time. We will not be responsible to you if for any reason the Site or any content is unavailable at any time or for any period.

You must not use the Site for any illegal purpose or for any purpose that in our reasonable opinion damages our reputation or the reputation of any of our customers, suppliers or other users.

The Site is for your personal and non-commercial use only. Provided any watermarks are not removed or covered and/or full accreditation is given by way of a link to the Site, you may share our Site content (including maps and plots) via social media, forums and email for non-commercial purposes.

Use of individual images from the Site on blogs or personal websites is permitted, as long as a link to the Site is provided, and that clicking on the image also links to the Site.

Automated embedding of multiple images is prohibited - please contact wxcharts@metdesk.com for review if you are unsure if your use and/or plans will breach these Terms.

Commercial use of the Site content is strictly prohibited. The Site content should never be downloaded or copied for use in a product that is sold for profit. If you require weather maps, plots or data for your business, please get in touch via sales@metdesk.com.

Commercial viewing of the Site is permitted at present, but we reserve the right to change this policy in the future.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our Site. You are also responsible for ensuring that all individuals who access our Site through your internet connection are aware of these Terms, and that they comply with them.

We make no promise that the Site is appropriate or available for use in locations outside of the UK. If you choose to access the Site from locations outside the UK, you acknowledge you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws where they apply.

Our Intellectual Property

We are the owner or the licensee of all rights in the Site and we reserve all such rights. You may only use the Site and the content in the Site as expressly stated in these Terms. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our Site must always be acknowledged.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our Site in breach of these Terms, your right to use our Site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

We may update and/or change the content of our Site at any time. We may suspend access to our Site or terminate operation of the Site at any time as we see fit.

Whilst we aim to keep our Site as up to date as possible, we are unable to guarantee access to the most up-to date information and it is possible that some material on our Site may be out of date at any given time. Any reliance that you may place on the information on the Site is at your own risk.

Your liability to us

If you do not comply with these Terms, and we incur any costs, loss, claims, expenses and other liabilities which result from your non-compliance, you agree to reimburse us for such costs, loss, claims, expenses and other liabilities. This is in addition to any other specific remedies we have in these Terms or under the law generally (such as our right to prevent you accessing the Site).

Our liability to you

The information and content on the Site is provided without any guarantees, conditions, warranties or representations of any kind as to its accuracy, relevance or appropriateness for your intended use. The user accepts all risk associated with the use of the Site and/or the content in the Site. We will have no liability arising from:

General exclusions of liability: We are only legally responsible to you as set out in these Terms. We have no other duty or legal responsibility to you, and all responsibilities, guarantees and any other conditions implied by law or otherwise will not apply, as far as this is allowed by law.

We will not be legally responsible to you for any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.

We are not legally responsible to you in any way for any indirect or direct loss of income, loss of business or loss of profits, or for any other loss or damage that could not reasonably have been expected at the time we entered into this contract. Also, we will not be legally responsible to you for any loss you suffer as a result of your responsibilities to any other person (however this is caused).

Nothing in these Terms will exclude our legal responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited as a matter of law.

Viruses, hacking and other offences

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.

By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. Applicable Law and other Important Terms

The English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our Site although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.

These terms of use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

If we don't enforce any part of this contract at any time, this will not stop us from doing so in the future.

No one other than us or you has any right to enforce any of these Terms.
